828 VETS promotes growth, awareness and success for veterans in business.  We are also here to offer additional support to local veterans in need by connecting them with both area resources, as well as, our supportive community members.

Brasstown Ringers

The Brasstown Ringers community hand bell ensemble will kick off their holiday concert season, SOUNDS LIKE CHRISTMAS with a performance in Franklin, NC on December 10 at 7 pm at First United Methodist Church.  In addition to spring and winter performances, the choir has toured Europe, performed at the Biltmore Houses, as well as, other venues throughout Western North Carolina, Northeast Georgia and Southeast Tennessee.

The SOUNDS LIKE CHRISTMAS concert will showcase the beauty and depth of hand bell music and spotlight various ringing techniques.  The program’s variety of pieces featuring traditional carols, and pop favorites is sure to bring holiday cheer!

 

The Foxfire Museum

Hike through history at the Foxfire Museum.  Out Appalachian Village is made up of over 20 historic log structures, each home to various artifacts representative of life in the mountains.  Watch a spinner at her wheel or stand back as the blacksmith strokes his forge.  Discover all that the spacious outdoor museum offers.

My Fit Journey

My Fit Journey offers private personal training, group training and group exercise classes.  We offer a positive environment where everyone is welcome.  Our goal is to help different individuals with their fitness journey and help them develop a healthy lifestyle.

Taste of Scotland Society, Inc.

The Taste of Scotland Society, Inc is a 501 non-profit organization that sponsors Burnes Night in January and Taste of Scotland Festival in June.  We also help people find their Scottish heritage and sponsor events as Ceilidh and concerts during the year.
