Glen Choga Lodge

Glen Choga Lodge was built in Macon County in 1935 and was admitted to the Register of Historic Places in 1996.  It sits on 22 +/- acres in the Nantahala Forest.  It has recently been preserved and restored and updated where necessary.

We Need a Little Christmas! Brasstown Ringers

The Brasstown Ringers community handbell ensemble will perform their holiday concert , We Need A Little Christmas!, on Saturday, December 10 at  7 pm at First United Methodist Church.  Ringing 5 octaves of Schulmerich bells and 6 octaves of Malmark chimes, including advanced ringers from across GA, NC and TN.  This holiday concert  series will showcase the beauty and depth of handbell music and spotlight various ringing techniques.  The program’s variety of pieces featuring traditional carols and pop favorites is sure to bring holiday cheer!
