Oktoberfest Fundraiser
Volunteers with the St, Francis Church Food Pantry will hold a festival Oktoberfest dinner and silent auction in the church hall at 299 Maple Street. The event raises money to support the food pantry that serves Macon County residents.
The dinner consists of brats, German potato salad, sauerkraut dessert and soft drinks along with complimentary beer and wine.
As a special added attraction, Highlands Mediaworks will project a collection of classic paintings entitled, “Angels in Sacred Art.”
Oktoberfest tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children. Tickets are on sale weekdays 10 am – 3 pm at the church as well as at the door. Call the church at 828-524-2289 for information. Everyone is welcome.
