Foxfire Writer’s Workshop
This two and a half day event, will explore writing as a form of exploration and creative expression. The workshop will cover a wide range of forms, including poetry, writing prompts, an author’s love/respect for language and all things literary. Writer’s will come away with tangible literary material, new friendships and connections and a renewed sense of commitment to writing. Included in the workshop will be snacks and drinks, a number of chances to share writing and a musical live mountain music interlude (or two). Lodging is on your own, and we invite you to check out Beechwood Inn, The York House Inn and Sylvan Lake Lodge as possibilities. The area also features various budget hotels, Transportation is on your own.
The Foxfire Museum location is just a few miles from the Appalachian Trail, the Chattooga River, the Bartram Trail and the small town of Clayton, all of which will add to the uniqueness and intimacy of this writer’s workshop
Friday: 6:30 – 8:30 pm
Saturday: 9 am – 12 noon
Sunday 9:30 am – 12 noon
Fee for this 3 day workshop is $200.
