Macon Muddy Sneakers Camp
Macon County Schools is partnering with Muddy Sneakers to provide two summer camps this Summer 2024.
June 17-20 is open to rising 4th – rising 6th grade students
June 24 – 27 is open to rising 6th – rising 8th grade students
The cost of the program is $150.00 per student.
To reserve your spot, payment is due by check or cash to “Macon County Schools” by April 26th.
Payment can be mailed to Macon County Schools C/O Jennifer Love, 1202 Old Murphy Rd., Franklin, NC 28734 or you may drop payment off at the Administrative Offices at the above address. We are across from Noah’s Ark Animal Hospital. Please do not take payment to Mountain View Intermediate School. A copy of this form will be emailed to you upon submission. Please include a paper copy of this email with your payment.
Once you are registered and payment has been received, Muddy Sneakers will send you the paperwork and more information about the program.
Students will be meeting at Mountain View Intermediate School at 9:00 am and will need a ride home at 3:00 pm. The first two days will be on site at MVI and the second two days will take place at Tessentee Bottomland Preserve in Otto, NC. Students will have bus transportation to and from these off-site trips.
Meals (breakfast and lunch) will be provided free of charge for camp participants. You are welcome to send a sack lunch with your child as long as it is free of nut products.
Participants will be outdoors during these camps. Alternate activities will take place indoors in the case of inclement weather.
