Alan Lee Edwards has been a songwriter for over 30 years. Pretty much anyone who’s heard Edwards’ music knows that he is one of North Carolina’s most gifted songsmiths and deserves billing as a poet, more so than a songwriter. His music holds an honesty and an authenticity, not built on outward style, but inner substance. He is joined by and excellent backing band of some of the top players in the region with vocal harmonies that recall classic Byrds, Flying Burrito Brothers and Buck Owens/ Don Rich.
