Small town Iowa native, Jay Allen, made his move to Nashville in 2013 and very quickly gained attention from the country music industry. He signed his first publishing deal in 2014, and then teamed with Sony/ATV in 2016.
After seeing his mother suffer from Alzheimerโs, Allen wrote โBlank Staresโ. A video of him performing the song with his mother on stage in Iowa went viral with over 500 million views on Facebook. His mother has since passed, but Jay continues to tour the country as an advocate for the Alzheimerโs Association, and the song has gone on to raise over $100 million dollars to help fight the disease.
โ
Jay has been featured on NBCโs The Voice, ABC World News, PeopleTV, Pickler & Ben, and in People & Forbes Magazine, among others. He was selected as The Highway Find on Sirius XM with his song โSounds Good To Meโ, won the 2022 Country Now Awards as Favorite Competition Contestant, and was recognized as one of Music Mayhem Magazineโs 2023 Artists to Watch. Jay is married to UMG artist, Kylie Morgan.ย
