Alarka Expeditions invites you to join them on this seven mile trip will take you through the heart of a wild 5,500 acre tract to see what Appalachian rivers of this size used to look like. If you haven’t seen this tract, or ever paddled it, you’re in for a treat. We’ll start out just over the Swain county line and take out downstream below Wiggins Creek. It’s loaded with birds, otters, fish, mussels, and outstanding mountain scenery. Some kayaking experience required, but there is no dangerous technical difficulty.
$45 per with your own boat. $75 if we provide. Not to be missed!
