Our council is a community organization consisting of local residents, businesses, members of our local government, and members of the National Forest supported by the Appalachian Trail Conservancy.  Our goal is to unify our community around the Appalachian Trail and our rich abundance of outdoor resources.  Our purpose is to promote, protect and educate.
