TSALI RECREATION AREA - Tsali has a fee campground, picnic area, boat launch, and 38 miles of multi-use trails. The Right and Left Loop Trails cover 22.9 miles. The Thompson and Mouse Branch Loops cover 15.4 miles. A trail use schedule is posted so mountain bikers and horseback riders will be aware of what segments are available to them. Foot travel is always invited. Tsali was a Cherokee man shot during the Cherokee Removal so General Scott would not hunt the rest of the Cherokees that were hiding. Tsali is the Cherokee word for Charley.
