WAYEHUTTA ATV TRAIL SYSTEM - The trail system for all-terrain vehicles is located to the northeast of Cullowhee on the Highlands Ranger District. It offers 19 miles of trails at three difficulty levels. Cross-country travel is prohibited. From Western Carolina University take S.R. 1002 (Old NC 107) to Cullowhee. Turn right on S.R. 1731, which will become Forest Service Road 4650. There is ample trial parking. Further information can be obtained from the Highlands Ranger District at 828-526-3765.
